McGruff the Crime Dog
McGruff the Crime Dog will visit the youth and
talk about violence prevention, Internet safety,
stranger danger, and Taking a Bite Out of Crime.
McGruff will have hand-outs to give to the youth.
Local Police Officers will be available to give the
youth rides around the neighborhood in their
cruisers. October is Crime Prevention Month.

Inflatables by Party Pros in Wheelersburg, Ohio will be provided for
the youth to play while the teenagers and adults are working in the
Peace Park; winterizing the plants and installing the fence and trellis'.
Retired Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Player, Al Oliver will be donating a
signed baseball and bat for a raffle to raise funds for the Peace Park.
Fish sandwiches and Hot Dogs will be grilled for sale with proceeds
going to the Peace Park.
All volunteers will be asked to donate personal hygiene items, along
with soliciting local businesses to donate to the local Domestic
Violence Shelter, since October is also Domestic Violence Month.
Youth will be making teddy bears to donate to the shelter.
Youth will also be making stepping stones for the Peace Park.
We will host a corn-hole tournament with proceeds going to the Peace
Park.
