Memorial Brick Walk-Way-Brick Purchase Order
We are building a Peace Park on the vacant lot next to the church.  The garden will be planted by youth in the
community and used as a service-learning project for National Youth Service Day. The park will house a memorial
rose garden that will pay tribute to our African-American heritage.  A brick memorial walk-way will be at the entrance
of the park and will lead to and encircle a gazebo which will provide a place for visitors to rest and reflect on the
beauty and history of the park. The Peace Park will be open to the public and will create a living reminder that peace
begins within our hearts, thoughts, words and actions.  Each day, each one of us has an opportunity to make the
world a better place.  The bricks may be personalized by adding the name of your church or organization, your own
name, in memory of or honor of a loved one, or just a peaceful message. The Peace Park will pay tribute to our
African-American heritage, so your message could also pertain to Black History or honor one of our many
African-American leaders.
