The Rainbow Store is an incentive store for exhibiting behavior pleasing to God.
Each youth will earn points for a list of things, ie. Attendance at Sunday School and Bible Study,
learning a Bible verse, sharing an experience where they acted in a way that is pleasing to God,
and will receive bonus points for perfect attendance.
The Rainbow Store will be stocked with items that will enhance the youth’s spiritual journey, along
with things that will just be “fun”.
Every six months the youth can “cash in” their points for items in the Rainbow Store. Items will be
assigned a point value and youth will be encouraged to earn points by setting their goal on
specific items in the store. Shopping in the store will be based on earned points. The person who
earns the most points will get the first opportunity to shop, and it will follow in order of points
earned.
A chart with the youth’s names listed will be kept and each time the youth does something worthy
of a point; a sticker will be placed by the youth’s name. Each child will receive a “Beulah credit
card” and the card will reflect the points earned and will be used to cash in points in the Rainbow
Store.
The Rainbow Store will be used to encourage the youth at Beulah to become more involved with
the church, and to grow the youth membership. It will be a reward system. The Rainbow Store will
encourage the youth to be an active member of the church, and to learn and develop a closer
relationship with God.
The Youth and their points will be posted on this web page so that they can easily keep track of
their points.
